Our Story
Southside African Restaurant was born from a simple conviction: the flavors of Africa deserve a home on Chicago's South Side. Our kitchen draws from the culinary traditions of West, East, and Southern Africa — each recipe passed down, refined, and prepared with the same care a grandmother would insist upon. We source locally whenever possible and never compromise on the quality of our spices, grains, and produce.
